Original and down-to-earth. Yet always ready for an adventure. Heritage follows their way ahead. Since 80 years, Viberg delivers excellence: prime quality leather boots now and then only made in Canada.
Viberg Boot’s inventive talent originates in North America’s wilderness. In 1931, Ed Viberg changed outdoor footwear adding interchangeable studs onto the soles. Thus, his boots were essential to any lumberjack from Alaska to the California Redwoods. Today, Viberg Boot is an Urban Classic. Throughout three generations, the manufactory gave their boots a new look, yet their claim for prime quality came along: stainless brass fittings, such as shoe nails from England and Switzerland, perennial Vibram soles from Italy and Spain. Their indestructible shoe leathers are exclusively sourced from renowned tanneries in America’s Midwest. Carrying on the traditional Goodyear welted technique, every shoe frame and sole is sewn carefully to the upper leather as the ensemble is brought into shape. Therefore, a Viberg boot remains ergonomically flexible yet extremely persistent.
The small studio in Victoria handcrafts not more than 20 pairs a day. Hence, Viberg can ensure that every boot will last forever.
