Barbour Beacon Heritage at 14 oz.

14 oz. is proud to exclusively host the German launch of the bespoken BARBOUR BEACON HERITAGE COLLECTION for Fall/Winter 2013.

This time Barbour teams up with Savile Row tailor Norton & Sons under the creative direction of Patrick Grant who introduces a unique interpretation of Barbour's heritage. The first season of Beacon Heritage by Norton & Sons picks up on Barbour's early days based on extensive research from the brand's archive catalogues from the 1900s. Inspiration for this collection comes from the artisan look and feel of the workwear worn by traditional fishing and working communities along the Northumbrian coast. Characteristic is the simple and understated style. As Patrick Grant states: "… simple uncomplicated cutting, an absence of fussy detail, and the finest material and construction. It was this simplicity and authenticity, and a dedication to clothes of real lasting value that made me fall in love with Barbour as a young boy and has kept me wearing the brand for almost thirty years."

The Barbour Beacon Heritage Collection is both masculine and timeless and it comes in various facets: Three bespoken wax jackets that are made in Barbour's factory in South Shields, tweed jackets classically tailored in luxurious Harris Tweed, simple & rugged knitwear, shirts in high quality cotton with an antique looking finish and elegant cashmere scarves complete the collection. Norton & Sons works closely with the fashion industry of London, New York and Paris, cutting and sewing tailored pieces for a long list of celebrated designers. The 14 oz. team is proud to present you a one-of-a-kind collaboration that we are all excited about! Available at:
